Swim & Dive Wins at Double Dual Meet

The Regina-Lutheran North Co-Op continue to make strides in their first year as a co-op together. The Saddlelites/Mustangs defeated both Lake Shore and Divine Child at their double-dual meet on Tuesday, September 19th. 

The team was led by the individuals below PR'ing in their events:

Gabi Velasco dropped time in the hundred fly again going from 1:40.29 to 1:36.13.

Hailey Toutant took her 50 free down an enormous 4 seconds from 0:41.87 to 0:37.68, and made a huge drop in the 100 back as well. More than ten seconds, taking her time from 1:55.72 to 1:45.06.

Bailee Roths dropped almost 9 seconds from her 200 IM, one of the most challenging events on the entire line up, going from 3:21.48 to 3:11.79.

Sierra Liggins swam the 100 back for the second time ever with our team and shaved 1:13.61 to 1:13.18, once again beating the county cut by about 5 seconds.

Brie Kenney dropped even more time in the 500, going from 7:09.66 to 7:03.52.

The team returns to the pool on Friday, September 22nd, where they will host Warren Woods Tower and Center Line at Tower at 6:00pm. 

Millett Earns All Catholic at Diving Championship

Congratulations to Junior Victoria Millett who placed 3rd at the CHSL Diving Championships this week, earning All Catholic Honors!

Millett will dive again next Thursday, November 9th, at the MHSAA Diving Regional. Congratulations Vic, and good luck next week!

Congratulations are in order for Junior Victoria Millett! Millett earned 10th place at the Division 2 Diving Regionals, earning her a spot at the Division 2 State Finals next weekend - HER SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! 

Great job, Victoria! We are very proud of you and your hard work!
