Our RHS/LHN United Ice Hockey Team traveled to Traverse City this weekend for the 9th Annual TC Challenge - Ice Hockey Showcase.
On Friday, January 20th, the Saddlelites/Mustangs played the Livonia Knights and fell 2-5.
On Saturday, January 21st, the team played Traverse City. TC jumped to 2-0 start, but the Saddlelites/Mustangs fought back to tie it 2-2. Regina Senior Rosa VanGoethem was named player of the game (photo below).
Their last game on January 22nd was against Copper County. The team dropped to a 1-3 start but backed back and ended up winning 8-3. Regina Freshman Ruby Des Madryl was named player of the game (photo below).
Overall, the RHS/LHN Team was 1-1-1 for the weekend. A great weekend of ice hockey and team bonding!
